Were Arreola more aggressive, he might've become the first fighter to knock out the former heavyweight champion. Arreola statement is flawed. He says Ruiz didn't hurt him and then says he didn't want to throw caution to the wind. If Arreola had thrown caution to the wind and gone for broke, he could have been stopped but he could have gotten the KO and if he had done that, he would be on cloud 9 with the biggest win of his career. He often didn't have proper distance and let Ruiz duck under his punches instead of punching downward and catching Ruiz.

Ruiz is just a better fighter. Even a poorly prepared Ruiz gave him all he wanted. Ruiz spent so much energy trying to lose weight and not look the Pillsbury doughboy that his boxing skills ******. He was much sharper in the first Joshua fight.

He's a much better fighter but as we know, on a given night, those dynamics can change when it comes to heavyweights and power. If he can avoid gaining any weight and take of some more weight slowly, he'll do much better in his next fight since he will have the rust off from a year and a half of being out of the ring.
