I never understood all the hype of the ring size. Perhaps the contrast of the black canvas have got eyes confused? Looks exactly the same to me.

Yeah but the salty haters like to enjoy calling AJ a runner, he has a bigger KO% than Wilder but he is a runner. So everytime they mention the Ruiz 2 ring it grows another foot. -
Actually that doesn't make sense, its illegal to have bigger than 20 ft(stateside),& the 1st fight was 18 ft which was changed to 22 in rematch. (Ruiz didn't complain though, Because he knew he was given opp of lifetime)Overweight defending champion pays price for his partying and lack of pre-fight discipline as British fighter regains the WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO belts he lost in New YorkLast edited by kushking; 05-04-2021, 01:33 AM.Comment

I don’t buy that. Adding 4 feet more per side is a “stretch” for gossip.Comment

What's there to buy,its in the guardian article I posted & has been documented many times, like when the ring was gifted to a Saudi prince after fight. Its 22 ft,& 1st was 18 ft,the pics even show it but you have to have keen eye because its only 4 ft difference.
(I'm not saying it made a difference either,as the ref made a bigger difference than ring,Pabon was handpicked by Hearn due to needlessly breaking up fighters to favor the boxer,& it should be illegal for Hearn to handpick the ref)(even the guardian article states the same thing about Pabon)Last edited by kushking; 05-04-2021, 01:56 AM.Comment

Is this all to do with the Canelo v BJS and 22 whatever ring size debate? Because at the end of the day, they are both in that ring. And complaining about the size of the ring also can meant you have revealed your gameplan (Either way).Comment

"When the pair meet again on December 7 they will face each other in a 22ft ring that has been shipped over to the Middle East from Britain."

"He moved the ring after Tuesday's open workouts and it will be expanded to measure 22ft inside the ropes when it is rebuilt for Saturday's showpiece at the newly constructed Diriyah Arena."

we spar in small rings to begin with. Most gyms alone wish they have a standardized 16ft ring as a standard, but many nook gyms have smaller ones, if we all agree that a professional needs to prep outside a sparring ring then what’s the problem. From the eye test alone I saw no difference from MSG to Saudi Arabia. 2 feet of range by either guy is a challenge. I don’t see how it would dramatically HW’s since Flyweights have shared 18 footers all day err day.
imho don’t get caught up with the propaganda against Hearn related business. That’s LDBC world of conspiracy theories.Comment
