It's all I'm remembering him doing in the build up to this fight so far. "Hearn likes Canelo more" "there was supposed to be no crowd and a British judge".

Sounds like a damn loser who doesn't believe in himself. Makes it hard for me to get excited for this one.

Yeah I think with all the trash talking, Canelo is going to take it personally and want to really hurt BJS.

Trying to beat Canelo in Texas/Vegas will take some politicking, especially now when the sport is devoid of legit stars. Of course, you also need to fight a damn near perfect boxing match while also scrapping when needed. I think putting the attention on judges and back room maneuvering should be expected with guys like Fury around his team who knows about pulling upsets on the house fighter.

He does have a track record of layering on this kind of stuff but if he's not pulled out of the fight then I assumed it's him doing the political part of trying to win such an upset. I don't think he will get far with the excuses, he's gotten way more time than other Canelo opponents and he's talked about this so much over the years - if you can't get up for this fight then **** off.

I don't think that is what this is though - and if Saunders was not raising a stink in this situation then I'd be wondering what was going on........ to me, it's better than coming in like a Canelo fan and just being happy to be pictured in the same ring as him, taking 35 minute naps while gloved up, or realizing during the ring walk that you shouldn't be there like Yilidrm

It's like this for me with Saunders in this fight: he will do the politics which is needed, he can be a showman which is needed in this situation, and he is a southpaw who can move a bit and is fluid (more flat at 168 yes, but ability is still there).

I think it;'s a good fight for both guys to show what theyre about

Eddie should do his job and look out for the best interests of his fighter BJS. There are genuine tricks being played by Hearn and Canelo's side e.g smaller ring, judging, smaller crowd mentioned in contract than actual crowd numbers so BJS gets less money, not allowing BJS's full team to attend etc.

We've seen Eddie pull stunts like this in the past so it shouldn't be surprising and Canelo always likes to have it stacked in his favour.

              Canelo by KO…

I’m convinced of it. Just think he’s a complete level above.

I’ve always wanted to see somebody beat the sh** out of BJS too. I’ll be rooting for Canelo for the first time ever.

As you know I’m no fan of Hearn but if I had to choose between Canelo and BJS, it would pretty much be a no brainer.

Hearn will continue doing all he can to keep Canelo on the DAZN platform.

it's hard to get excited for almost any fight based on the promotion any more. i miss hbo and showtime and their ability to create storylines and bring depth to characters i don't really care about. canelo is a great fighter and he's compelling TV, and hes' actually fighting a decent fighter. then you have this. you can hardly tell when these fights are coming up. theyve always negotiated through the media but these days it is absurd, with the fighters, managers, promotors, even trainers taking part and getting in their CONSTANT say in how a fighter should be moved and clamoring for money.

saunders should be worried, he's facing a better boxer and puncher and if he can't cute his way around the ring and take big shots he's gonna lose. and canelo has a live body in front of him in the tradition of the guys who have given him problems in the past, which are guys who can throw power on the way out and make him use his feet.
