So let me start by saying I am the only person in my group of friends that likes boxing. Most of my friends like mma and don't mind boxing, but wont go out of there way to watch it. When ever a big fight comes on I go down to my friends and give him 50 bucks to order it(I can't order ppv at my house). We'll invite people over and people will stop by, but more because theres nothing better to do. I usually pay for the whole thing, and no one throws me any money, not that I care too much as just getting to watch it is what I want and if I can help turn some ppl onto boxing i feel pretty good(all my friends are now pacman fans). I told my friends the other night that I didn't think i was going to order the jmm/pbf fight because I could go see it in a theater for only 15$. When I told them this they couldn't believe boxing was going to be in a theater and said they wanted to come. They started making plans about pregaming at the bar next to the theater and bringing in flasks and getting all excited. My main point is i think boxing in a theater is appealing to causal fans as it makes it more of an experience than just sitting down to watch a fight. So all in all thanks oscar for doing this. I think it was a great idea.Comment

It's a very good idea. Bringing Boxing to the big screen. If it was around my area then I'd definitely be attending to see it.Comment

Not necessarily... There are going to be people who will buy the PPV because a theater isn't showing it in their area. Then there are going to be people who will go see it in the theater. There is also going to be folks out there who didn't even know they were showing the fight in theaters lolComment

In Las Vegas, Nevada, there are theatres that sell alcohol, including beer. But then again, if you need alcohol for every single event in your life, then you need help.
