Cotto is a beast against southpaws

I hope no Pacfans think by Pacquiao being southpaw that he's gonna have any real advantage. If you look back at Cotto vs Quintana or vs Zab Judah, Cotto manhandled them both. Sure Zab lasted abit longer because he had too much pride to go down, but he was getting beat the f**k up by Cotto. The way Cotto lands his body shots on southpaws with such ease is a scary thing for Pacquiao. Pacquiao also not being anywhere near Margarito's body size or height is going to make Cotto be his usual self, going forward bombing.

Quintana and Judah are not as top quality as Pac. Hes never fought a South Paw like Pacquiao and for anyone to compere Pac to quitcrybabyTana or bumJudah to Pac is a little far fetched. And his body shots were worthless against Marg...and it showed! If anything Pac being the smaller fighter and beatin up handling Cotto will have a more of a mental affect than a Physical effect.

Exactly, Manny is the P4P king right now. Cotto defeating Zab and Quintana has no relevance on this fight. Zab is fast but he's not as fast and fights nothing like Manny.

His bodyshots were worthless against Marg because of Marg's size and way he guarded himself with his elbows to the side and low. Pacquiao is waaaay smaller than Margarito for Cotto to show any respect in regards to letting his bodyshots go. And regardless of the quality of Quintana or Zab compared to Manny, the fact is, he went at their body like nothing. I think if Pacquiao doesn't keep moving, Cotto will tear up the body. You know the saying, get his respect? It never meant more than in this fight. Pacquiao needs to get it early, and if he doesn't, he's done. Simple as that. When Cotto doesn't fear a punch, he'll come at you nonstop.

I wasn't impressed with Cotto after the Clottey fight, don't know how well he's going to handle Pac.

          I suspect not that well...

For me a lot depends on how strong Pac is at 147 and can he get Cotto's respect...if he can't things get very interesting...

People keep saying that, but I saw something else.

I realise he was cut too, but he just didn't look right..

I guess we'll have to see in a few months.

Seriously though, and I'm dead f**kin' serious when I say this...

... Those low blows played an important part to Cotto's victory in his fight with Zab. That really played a huge role in slowing down Zab. 'Cause Zab had him, I mean, Cotto couldn't deal with that f**kin speed of Zab's until the low blows.

Cotto had no idea how to defend against Zab, he was confused with that southpaw stance from Zab, that's how those shots were gettin' through Cotto's guard.
