Fulton is soon to be unifying (which I favor him to win regardless of Figueroa or Nery being the opposition). If Conlan truly wants to challenge the top dog of the division, he will do it on their terms not his.
Fight may go to purse bid and Conlan's team can win it forcing the fight to be in Belfast.

But looks like Fulton is fighting the winner of Nery/Figueora next. So Conlan will have to wait a bit, but maybe in early 2022 they can get this fight done.

Conlan is just another example of an excellent amateur who's style just doesn't translate to the pro ranks. I feel like it is a disservice these guys stay in the amateurs until the age of like 25 and then turn pro. Compare Conlan to Stevenson. Both in the same weight class in the amateurs and if they would have fought in the Olympics, Conlan likely is the favorite or this is a pick-em. If they fought at 126 when both were there? Stevenson would have been a MASSIVE favorite. Difference? Conlan was 25 years old at the 2016 Olympics while Stevenson was only 19 years old. One of them had already peaked while the other had so much room to grow. Hope these Brits eventually start to bypass staying four more years in the amateur ranks and start going the pro route when they are 20 or 21 years old.

MJ has two belts and then the winner of Fulton vs Nery/Figueroa will have two belts. Miss me with this WBA world crap.

I don't know how the WBA & IBF have Conlan rated @ 122Lb, but Murodjon Akhmadaliev doesn't seem to have anything scheduled, so why not go that route?
