These guys are old school gatekeepers, they are always ready to fight and to give the opponent all sort of trouble. And what is amazing, they still look like 10 years ago.
I will miss Chisora and Arreola when they retire

I missed most of the British card today but heard Chisora arguably did enough to win? Guy can't catch a break it seems. -
I want to see more from both of them. These guys fight poor because they are not rich. Both of them come to fight because they want a chance to fight for title and get that payday. Arreola had his chance with Klitsko and Wilder, but I think they paid him chump change.Comment

Yeah
many had him winning, it was close. You wouldn’t complain with either fighter getting it by a round really but personally thought Chisora shaded it. Not a robbery by any means.
I think he never gets the nod in fights because he has plenty of losses, so it doesn’t really affect him as long as the fight is very close and people think he could’ve won, he still gets big fights and people will watch because he brings it.
Where as if Parker loses, he’s lost to Chisora who had 10 losses on his record, it looks worse on him.
They are with the same promoter so I’m sure that image is a factor when they’re scoring these fights.

Unfortunately I think that is part of the scoring for some judges. They’re more likely to give the ‘better’ fighter rounds. There’s no other logical explanation, I mean how could you not give Chisora at least 4 out of the first 6 rounds last night? (And there’s an argument for all 6). Plus he clearly won the 12th and others were close. Yet one judge only gave him 3 rounds all fight. This stuff needs to be looked at by a panel and judges who score fights like this suspended.

It is a old school mentality that you do not see often today in boxing or? It is mocked by society and even boxing fans themselves.
We live in a society where working class people have elitist mentalities or people who have done nothing in sport all their lives 'Speak as if they have won something or participated'.
When they retire who really replaces them? IF Boxing continues to idolize certain model of business 'A entire branch of fighters and culture in boxing will disappear'.
Boxing needs fighters who don't get to high on win, and don't get to low on a loss 'And just fight'.
I have never really been a big Chisora supporter, and I am still not really a big supporter. But it was awesome when he stated inside the ring yesterday 'I am not going to let the beat me, I will come again' The man has passion for his craft.
What a career that man has had, he has shared the ring with a vast amount of great fighters 'I can assure you they all respect his effort, from Kiltschko to David Haye'.
Note: I think a draw should of been given last night, Chisora won the first 6 rounds with a knock down 'It was the sixth round where Parker I think started to come on, but for me Chisora still won that round' I don't think he won any of the last 6 rounds, but? I don't score fights as I watch them, I am only now thinking back to the fight.
But at the time of the fight? I stated in the fight by fight thread 'It was a draw'.
I think the rematch should happen, Parker who else is he going to fight? And Chisora is most likely the best business fight for him.

Ch isora has the best resume in heavyweight boxing in terms of who he's fought. Maybe the best in all divisions aśide from pac. Chisoras resume puts Crawford to shameComment

One more thing I want to say? I kind of always what Parker to do well, I don't really have any issues with him.
He does always seem to hold something back, but he has also fought some good fighters now consistently in his career.
Takam, Chisora, Whyte, Ruiz Junior, Junior Fa, I don't think he has had things easy himself.
I agree with Bellew for once, Chisora tonight could of really won this fight beyond doubt 'The fight was night and day after 7 rounds'.
Also does Chisora need to just keep wading forward for 3 minutes of every round? Maybe if after 6 rounds he, changes tactics to short intense burst with a hard jab 'He could also win rounds like that'. Mixed things up a bit, his team sometimes make out that he does not have this ability.
If this rematch is made for July or August, Chisora can win.
Apart from the knock down, Parker looked quite strong in there 'Stronger than Usyk'.Comment
