10-10 is allowed in a 10 point must system… the winners of that round were scored 10 points without penalties
As much as I dislike even rounds, it would be unjust to arbitrarily afford the round to one fighter over the other where the rounds are evenly competitive
115-113 Parker would mean Parker won 7 rounds, drew 1 round (80 pts), lost 4 rounds with one being a KD (9*4, then -1, 35 pts). Giving Parker 6 or 7 rounds isn’t grossly unfair
Even rounds are definitely more frequent in European boxing. Low output higher accuracy tends to be scored more leniently in the US. Just one of the many cultural variants in the sport
