Bookies Have Crawford As UNDERDOG Against Errol Spence (If They End Up Fighting)

• Terrance “Bud” Crawford is currently +100 in the latest odds to Errol Spence Jr as a -130 favorite.
• Negotiations are being discussed of an 80-20 split in favor of Spence Jr, who originally offered 60-40 earlier this year.
• We review the betting odds between Crawford and Spence to see where the early value is.

The oddsmakers are giving a slight edge to Spence. His last three opponents were Mikey Garcia, Shawn Porter, and Danny Garcia. This tells us he can hang in there with the who’s who of boxing and play a physical game of chess down to a tee.

Crawford’s most recent opponents were Amir Khan, Egidijus Kavaliauskas, and Kell Brook. All fantastic boxers, but past their sell-by date to be fair. Crawford still has what it takes even at 33, but the clock is running out for him to cement his name among the great welterweights.

And of course, Spence is just flexing on Crawford because Crawford said "60-40 to me or NO FIGHT!!" - which caused Spence to be the adult, level set who the A-Side is and get negotiations back on track. Which is why even BoMac calmed down and is talking about trying get Porter made to help sell a fight with Spence. Even he knows that Crawford is now the one standing in the way of his success.

I fully expect NSB to applaud Spence as "he's just starting negotiations high like he's supposed to and they'll come to an agreement in the middle" like you did with Golovkin and Joshua. Be consistent.

As far as the odds - I mean, I would have Crawford as a slightly wider underdog because he's been wobbled multiple times, eye damn near closed, and dropped, where Spence has not, plus Spence has more rounds in the books recently against more dangerous opposition. To me it's 2-to-1 for Spence.
