What a finish for Williamson. Good to see Smith up

Can't imagine Cheeseman fighting Williamson, though it would be a fun fight, Chesseman will have his eye on higher profile and bigger money fights, so I'm guessing Williamson will get a shot at a vacant British title. Wonder if Warren feels confident enough to put Sheeraz in there with Williamson for that belt?

Next fight is a realllly interesting one for me, 14-0 Mick Conlan in his first fight at 122 against 14-2 Spanish/Romanian 14-2 Jonut Baluta. I personally think Conlan is massively overrated and incredibly basic, he's been seriously protected so far and they have avoided putting him in with punchers like the plague. Zero risk so far in his career and then they moved him down to avoid Shakur and Navarrete.

Baluta is an unheralded guy with very little power, but he went on the road to the UK and pulled off a close win against Kyle Williams, then won a decision over former world champ TJ Doheny, in a fight where I scored almost every round to Doheny, cards were shocking, but then he came back to the UK and blasted out David Oliver Joyce in a shocker. So I have no idea what to expect from Baluta in this one, but I feel like Conlan is vulnerable and juuuust maybe Baluta can expose it, we'll see

you gotta remember some of these journeymen know their way around the ring a bit.. they gotta be skilled enough to not get hurt enough that they can't do it again next week. A lot of the time when they're in with these debutants or novices they could likely win, but that ain't what they're paid to do. They start actually beating these kids then their work dries up... only in boxing.

Thinking Conlan struggles a bit to a decision win that is wider on the cards than it should be

Dammit, Baluta isn't going to win
