Thank God Haymon didn't ruin the 80s Golden Era

If there is one thing we can celebrate in American boxing it's that al haymon and fraud gayweather were not around in the 80s to ruin boxing then. Imagine if al haymon controlled Sugar Ray Leonard, he would have never fought Benitez, Duran, Hearns, Kalule or Hagler. He would have ducked everyone and only fought inhouse pbc patsies.

True. Goldenboy used to put on good fights every other week. Their fighters fought all the time. Haymon destroyed GBP took the fighters and blocks them fighting any challenge. He doesn't even make the big in house fights, wants to keep control of the titles so refuses to match title holders with other promoters fighters. He killed HBO, pretty much done the same with Showtime. Haymon is this biggest problem in the sport.

Yep Haymon and the PBC is a scum bag outfit, Bob Arum isn't any better he's a scaly old turd too. Lucky for America Eddie Hearn is there to take over and save American Boxing from its self.

is there any network that haymon hasnt been kicked off? and completely killed any chance those networks will ever invest in boxing again

          HBO
          CBS
          ABC
          NBC
          Soon to be FOX
          Bounce
          TNT
          the list is endless

now haymon has legitimized the scam fights with Floyd-Paul on SHOWTIME, another nail in the coffin

its all a big money laundering operation, propped up african american fighters,. excessive DRAWS (people are finally starting to pickup on the pattern). complete scam

Can't we even get Luis Ortiz vs Adam Kownacki or Luis Ortiz vs Charles Martin?
Are these folks retired or what?

How did he kill HBO? They were functioning for years after that relationship ended. I would argue your husband Eddie Hearn killed boxing on HBO.

HBO became AT&T’s vehicle to compete with Netflix. They have no use for boxing. It has nothing to do with a boxing promoter.
