Valdez has momentum from destroying Berchelt and then ducks Herring and fights boxrec #55 = Why boxing is a 2nd rate "sport" with terrible ratings. This fight should be on an undercard.

What happened with Valdez vs Herring?
Isn't Herring in a spot where he gots to fight Shakur or drop the belt if he's not unifying?
Would seem like that's a sexier fight if both got a belt. Guess Arum wants Valdez vs winner of Shakur vs Herring. Or Herring is just gonna drop the belt to fight Valdez & TR does the standard TR move of the vacant title fight between one of their guys vs some cat you gotta go boxrec.

“That’s what it seems like,” Arum said of Herring giving up the title. “’Bomac’ (trainer/manager Brian McIntyre) says he’s trying to talk him into taking the fight with the winner of the Shakur-(Nakathila) fight.”
Valdez is not fighting Herring if he gives up his title, so if Herring doesn't want to fight his friend, he should exercise his right to fight the WBO Champ @ 135!
Jamel Herring focused on Oscar Valdez unification fight, possibly moving to 135
Herring says right now, he’s focused on “collecting as many titles” as he possibly can. In theory, a move back to lightweight could allow him to get an immediate title shot against Teofimo Lopez, who has the WBO title, as well as the WBA and IBF. Or, if Lopez moves up after his fight against George Kambosos Jr on June 5, we could see Herring in the mix for a vacant title fight at 135.

This is not the kind of fight people want.
Herring and Stevenson are what fans really want.
However, if Valdez is too scared of them maybe he would be willing to fight my boy Navarette after this tune up.

Looks like Arum has the best at 126 and 130! Can't wait to see how this shapes up and I'm sure we'll know in a couple of weeks!

Seems like TRlire hoping to marinate unification fight between valdez and whoever is the last man standing with the WBO belt, which is most likely Shakur.
