Why do guys from lower divisions get so much credit?

Navarrete moves up, faces somebody for vacant title, than defends it against somebody who is not even top 10, than he goes life and death with him, and everybody is like: wow, what a warrior..

So I should be impressed because champion struggled badly with a huge underdog, stopping him in last seconds?

Because everyone likes to pretend they’re watching something great. Boxing allows for that because there’s 17 divisions and four titles.

Somehow I understand fascination. These low divisions are the only place you see one guy hurt like 4 times, still surviving the fight, taking 500+ hard shots..

Fret not! There will be multiple scandalous threads from the useless HW division this week -- is that Andy Ruiz weighing less than 255 pounds?! WOW! Thats impressive, but what about that Arreola PPV tho.

There's a reason why you never see Cruisers and Heavyweights on the P4P lists. 90% of them are clumsy and skill-less.
