Besides Fury is a pro, cant discredit him. Paul has boxed complete jokes no doubt but even a legitimate pro with no real amateur backround fights complete cans for first 5 fights at the very least, as has fury.
Yeah Warren was asked about it last week, and he said Yes right away. Tommy Fury V Jake Paul, talked about how Paul brings a lot of his own fans who are potential PPV buyers. Money speaks, even though he criticised anyone who gets involved with this in the past. You just have to take talks like those with a pinch of salt.

        Unlikely

Tommy has been boxing since he was a little kid, had amateur bouts and been sparring heavyweights since he was a teenager

people give him a bit of grief because he’s fought bums and been on reality TV but the reality is that he is a boxer first and been doing it all his life.

It’s not like he’s just appeared out of nowhere too and boxing because of the name, I remember IFL Interviewing him about five or six years ago when he was probably 14 and 15 and in the gym training from junior amateur fights

For the record, according to BoxRec.com, Tommy's five opponents have a combined record of 12 wins and 174 losses and 5 draws.

Fury may have fought scrubs but they were boxers. Has Paul ever fought a boxer? Don't think he is dumb enough to try. Probably just wants to build his profile so he can go onto UK Love Island

This is not the mismatch people are saying. Fury had only 12 amateur fights and his five wins are against opponents who were a combined 12-174. Added to that he has had reality tv distractions whilst Paul has been living in the gym. Boxrec have Joe Fournier ranked above Fury.

“I think it’d be a massive fight,” Paul told ESPN. “He’s fought scrubs to make himself look good.

“People will say the same about me, but I’ve fought guys with winning records like Ben Askren and AnEsonGib.
Haha what a joker. Yeah Fury's been fighting low ranked fighters, but at least they've actually been boxers

Fury beats him easily, beating up undersized competitors from other sports isn't going to prepare you for a young, boxing prospect who's the same size

Would be a ****** move by Jake Paul TBH. He should wait until Mayweather beats his brother and cash out with Mayweather.

To those who say that this is a business decision and millions will buy it....

that's a temporary benefit only, the young generation are not as gullible as you all seem to think. They'll soon realise it's all a farce and that they're not actually watching professionals. So after this fight, they'll be like, "That was pretty decent, now lets go watch some UFC to watch real professionals." Just as Mayweather vs Pac had boxing fans flee to UFC in their millions this will have the same effect. Boxing will just become a platform for pantomime and the occassional freak show. Anyone who justifies this trainwreck has no idea how supply and demand works. Oh, and **** Warren.
