Great fight tonight, with Pitufo Diaz consistently coming through hell and being stopped late by Vaquero Navarrete in the first defense of his 126lb title. How does everybody see the division right now? Who is the #1 guy at that weight? How do different top guys match up with each other? What are the fights you most want to see at that weight class?

Vaquero vs Gary Russell Jr (after he beats Rey Vargas) is the fight to make at 126 lbs.
We'll never get it, of course. Because of boxing promoter, in-house fights bullsh!t. -
Yeah, between PBC/TR and GRJ's inactivity, I can't imagine that fight ever happens. How do you see it going if it did occur?Comment

Stevenson is at 130 now. Where does LSC fit into this? Do you think he comes back to 126 or is he at 130 for good? Stylistically, whether it is at 126 or 130 I think LSC/Navarrete is the best fight that can be madeComment

Kind of depends whether GRJ stays at 126 and whether LSC comes back down cause he’s still the WBA super champ right?
I’d probably say GRJ is still the #1 in the division until he officially moves up. Navarrete would be my #2 guy at 126. After that I’d probably go Xu or Warrington but he’s got to avenge that Lara loss to retain his status as one of the top guys at 126.Comment

Damn that's right. Santa Cruz and Stevenson will stay at 130 me thinks. Navarrete-Santa Cruz at 130 would be amazing I agree.
Don't forget the dark horse Mauricio Lara! Dude's a beast

The only notable fights coming up on the schedule right now are Eduardo Ramirez vs Isaac Avelar for the interim WBA title and Musashi Mori vs Satoshi Shimizu in a big Japanese fight that will impact the WBO rankings. Warrington/Lara 2 is also in the works, as is GRJ vs Rey Vargas, but those aren't official yet. So most guys aren't busy right now, could be lots of fights to make...Comment
