I'm actually saying Loma took the harder fight. I wanted to see a Verdejo fight instead, for both to restore confidence. Not saying Verdejo is too easy. He's a dog.

I know you were watching tonight's ESPN fights. Andre Ward almost went wild on Loma, concluding (getting interrupted) with something like this: After saying Nakatani is a dangerous fight, Dre said, "they called him names like the Matrix and **** like that," to interrupt Bradley's BS drivel. Dre addressed the psych of a loser fighter. Someone fallen from the sky.

I'm not against Loma. I said what Dre said before the Nakatani fight was even a thing.

I hear jealousy in Ward's statements, dont you, he wasnt praised as Loma and rightfully so, he's trying to revenge now behind that screen and commentator status

        Japanese fighters are historically terrible.

Nakatani proved he doesn't give up easily, as evidenced in the Verdejo fight. He adapted even after being dropped twice, then stopped Verdejo in epic style. He seems to have a good engine, doesn't panic, has solid power, is a clear thinker in the ring, and is massive in size for the division. Obviously no one can sleep on Loma, he has some pop and solid ring smarts as well, but this will be as tough of a test for him as the Lopez fight was... even considering Loma will be in better physical shape. And BTW, fans saw a massive whiner in Loma after Lopez clearly beat him, so his mental toughness will be on the line here. The fans get another great fight in this one, no matter how it goes.

Not the ones that make to the big stage. I'm sold on Nakatani. This is his last big fight if he can't win. Actually, for both.

Gutsy comeback fight for Loma... Quite surprised really, I'd have expected him to fight someone he'll look good against but against Naka he'll likely sc**** a difficult win, possibly even get knocked down once.

Love him or hate him, Lomachenko has never looked for a soft touch since he’s turned pro.

                Great asset to boxing.

I would not be surprised if a sloppy Loma kinda wins a close decision.
Loma never struggled with Pedraza. Anyone who says otherwise needs to rewatch that fight.

That's the dumbest thing I've seen posted on here today.

He has the skills and ability to beat anybody but fighting guys close to 6 feet tall is a bridge too far.

He will likely beat most guys at 135, but not all the top dogs. In addition, most of these guys are natural welterweights or bigger, so the disadvantage on fight night is even greater.

Moving back down to 130 will not be as hard and will take some of the pressure off.

What happens if he loses this fight? It's admirable and most fans will give him kudos, but in his mid 30's is when a fighter either cashes out or goes for longevity. This is neither.
As boxing fans, we should applaud guys doing this, not criticize them. Most guys are fighting one or two classes below their natural class.
