It's okay, Crawford like Mikey and KingRy put their career on hold in hope of getting the Pacquiao fight. In the process, Mikey has not fought over a year, Ryan lost out on the Tank fight and Crawford may have lost out on the Porter fight. Now some BS report came out that Pacquiao vs Spence may happen....Um no need for Spence to pretend he has a chance of getting that fight.

Porter said he's coming back around June or July but hasn't heard anything from TR. Hopefully that changes soon and Arum can get back to Kenny and Shawn's team and try to get a deal done soon. Still have time to get it done.
All facts. At this point, I'd rather see Spence continue on with the Ugas fight.
Also correct about Porter "activating his mandatory." That's the Crawford's fan newest excuse. If Terence wanted that fight, it could be made.

Shawn Porter refused to take mandatory contender status and therefore refused to fight for the welterweight championship.

This is somehow Terence Crawford’s fault.

Its amazing how insane these PBC fans are.

Look man, I'm not upset at anybody for turning down a lowball offer. It's funny, getting paid, is not a concern except when it comes to our own pockets.

Top Rank, lowballs other fighters, they refuse, and they're ducking. Rinse, repeat.

It's hard to argue with Crawford fans, because their sense of realism and objectivity completely goes out the window when it comes to the dude.

It's not about being the new Crawford excuse, he was just all in on a Pacquiao showdown. If you recall, Pacquiao was being rumored to fight Spence as well but they quickly moved on after they realized it was just not going to happen. So I don't take the new reports of Pacquiao now pursuing a Spence fight serious.

Crawford still has the chance for a good fight in the summer. Hopefully his team circles back to Porter before they go another route. BoMac said they sent an offer out to DSG so that wouldn't be bad either. He still has options for sure.

I’m not even discussing an offer. I’m discussing what a mandatory contender is entitled too.

The same split everyone gets when they’re fortunate enough to get a title shot.

If Porter wanted a bigger split, he should bring a title to the fight.

He doesn’t have one, so he gets the mandatory contender split.

But he doesn’t want the title shot.

Maybe he’ll take the 25-percent when he enforces his WBC mandatory or maybe he’ll think he’s too good for that too.

                I don’t know.

But I know he could have fought Crawford and declined to do it.

It's not about low balling. The 1M or 2M being rumored as Porter's purse for a Crawford fight was simply BS. Arum even said that was not the case and he was just talking sh^t.

But they completly just left Porter and his team in the dark after initial talks and they never heard back from TR, presumably due to them pursuing the Pacquiao fight. Well now that is supposedly dead. Time to move on quickly.

Using your logic, since it's about the belts you're bringing to the table, is Crawford within any realm of reality asking for 50/50 for Spence, or even 60/40 his way? Or can we say he's ducking Errol?

You're proving the point. Arum comes out publicly, and says these guys are not worth more that 1M, then turns around, and doesn't even negotiate in good faith...yet the PBC are ducking Crawford?
