Haney isn't wrong. Linares will try to win and he can box which is more than Gamboa at this point. Jorge's biggest problem is punch resilience, Haney not noted for busting people up or dishing punishment. Because of these factors, Linares a very live dog in the fight.

It's a pattern, consider the source. Covid survivors, 40 year olds, fat guys. I can see it for a hype job, but Haney isn't supposed to need all that. Haney was doing better on his own. Watching him rot on the vine is painful.

I actually like Haney. Hearn is the issue, and DAZN. They are not sure of their investment. I'm fair. I understand everyone. I've always said Haney needs a better team without his dad. Floyd would be a good fit. My boy, Gervonta, would do better with Hearn. He can ORDER Hearn to get him any fight he wants. Haney can't.

                  They should trade.

I give Linares a very solid chance to win this particular fight. If he comes in properly trained, he'll make Haney go thru he!!, no matter the outcome. But IMO Linares will be the crafty veteran who gives Haney too many tricks to unravel. Just my 37 cents worth, that's all.
