Fury cannot fight in the UK until he deals with his steroids case. That's why they are looking elsewhere. And then theres the Wilder arbitration case and that's the other reason why it's taking so long. Otherwise this fight would be squared away within a weeks time. And then theres the fact that Fury wants a tune up bum fight.

It’s a friggin’ joke what a soap opera this is. And I wager both parties and egos are to blame. Equally

I'll wait until I actually see Fury and AJ in the ring trying to knock each others lights out before i believe its "100% done". They have been saying this forever ago!!

    Whatabout, whatabout, whatabout.

Where or what is Irak? The US went to Iraq primarily to stabilise global oil supplies because the guy in charge was evidently a loose cannon. And what about it? Does that somehow impact on the rightness or wrongess of taking Saudi sportwashing money?

Joshua vs Fury fighting in Saudi Arabia is a morally dubious choice.

But what about Irak??? Seriously, WTF are you on about?

Is this the only alternative in your mind?

The main difference between everywhere else and the Middle East is that the eveywhere else, they would try to generate most of the money via the paying customer. Ideally, that would be Wembley Stadium. With Saudi Arabia, the main incentive to go there is the site fee which comes directly from regime money, which is a regime with a sorry and bloody record of human rights abuses that is expressly looking to obscure that part of its image via sports and entertainment. I don't like this and I make no apology for not liking it.

So if the mob were explicitly and transparently trying to launder money by putting on this fight in Vegas, then no I would not be happier. I don't recall that being on the table though.
