Honestly, I would happily bet on this fight if Canelo didn’t have a history of favourable decisions with judges.
That’s why I said the story of the fight will either be a BJS win or Canelo robbery.
If Canelo were to win, it won’t be a blowout, I see a very high-level technical fight with both guys looking very good in moments.
Canelo won split decision in vegas v Lara whom imho got destroyed badly in a 1 sided fight where 1 guy landed the same amount of power shots as Lara did only jabs(compubox had Canelo landing like 90 body shots iirc). Vs Ggg he got a draw in a legit draw,& a very close sd in a fight that ggg picked the judges including the judge who favoured him in 1st fight. Conversely BJS got a decision v Lee/Eubank/Ryder/Akavov which were tossups or like Akavovs case got blatantly robbed imho.
Somehow Kovalev was tied on 1 card in a 1 sided fight imo,& he was down by 2 on other 2 cards.(most scorers had him losing by like 5 pts at stoppage) Compare Canelos cards to any other fighter & his are the most fair of anyone in boxing.(name a fighter who hasn't robbed multiple fighters on cards(even if they deserved to win)
Vegas judges are the best on earth, ask Stitch Duran & many others
I do agree this will be good fight & BJS is skillful in own right
Canelo is gonna lose so badly that it's going to reflect on the scorecards. 116-112 type of fight. Not even a BJS fan or anything but he has all the skills to beat him. I'm putting money on him winning a decision.
A decision win over Canelo in America? I think you've lost any money you've put down.
