It is hard to hate on the WBC here totally if it is just a one-off, and not another novelty belt. A bit strange in celebrating the history and culture that is closely related to Canelo's heritage (at least far more than Saunders) as it shows a complete lack of objectivity, a complete conflict of interest - they are supposed to be an adjudicating body!

Canelo excels beyond the Franchise belt theory. Canelo doesn’t even like Sulaiman... let’s keep it 100.

What benefit was the Franchise belt for Canelo? You can’t force him to fight anybody, he said so himself, before the French fry belt establishment, so what benefit is there when he’s the cash cow anyways? The same idiots say about Lomachenko. Loma fought Lopez. Lopez has the Franchise status now. Lol

fhe fact that the WBC has behind inconsistent rules SHOWS CONSISTENCY from Canelo that he doesn’t care for that shet. IDEALLY, a fighter who is cradled WBC like a years with Wilder not doing a mando with Whyte...shows Canelo is beyond all that.

Canelo is a fun fighter to exploit because he is doing boxing good and his techniques, whether he is a B+ fighter, is a FLAWLESS B+ fighter better than most listed as A fighters and their opposition. So it’s fun using Canelo to debunk fanboy crying because much of it doesn’t make sense and just emotion

Most of us are excited about that fight. Nobody gives 2 greasy fux about that belt.

I don`t care much. I expect another controversial decision in Canelo`s favor.
