My main problem with 24/7 is...

It never exposes any of the problems that go on in training camp. The Hatton-Pacquiao 24/7 was an utter failure because it did not display any of the animosity that Ricky and Floyd Sr. had. Because each fighter does not want their opponent and the public at large to know who really has the upper hand physically and psychologically, the entire program is dishonest and never has anything candid to say.

its not supposed to mate, its made by HBO who are always trying to hype the fight and sell it. to do that HBO try and make the fight seem as close and competitive as possbile.

now if a fighter has problems during camp (i.e. making weight, gameplan, strategy etc) then he is at a disadvantage, if he is at a disadvantage then the fight isn't as competitive and won't be bought by as many people.

well that's not entirely true..you just have to be smart to pick up on it and not a complete ******. For example I myself and many other fans here started seeing into the Hatton camp problems during the 24/7 airings when they mentioned in the actual 24/7 episode about Floyd sr. constantly being late etc and it even showed Hatton looking really annoyed in one scene as he sat there checking his watch while waiting for Floyd sr who was late to the training session. I mean you're right for the most part it's all b.s. and just hype with no real candidness but they do give you some hints that you can pick up on if you're not ******ed.

no I wouldn't, but that's why the show isn't that good.

The show is good for what it's primary intention is: to get the casuals hyped up enough to buy the PPV. For the die hard fan the show does very little because 1. we never learn anything we already didn't know and 2. like you said, it's so generalized and glossy that it's almost an insult to watch.

24/7 was invented to sell fights. Not to discourage PPV buyers. get it??

False, 24/7 showed floyd sr being late to the work out sessions. Right before the fight a lot of people made a big deal about it, roach going so far as to off his services to hatton after the fight.

It was in boxing interviews that hatton n floyd played nice.

Sorry buddy but ur wrong. With out 24/7 2we would've never known that floyd sr was being late to work out sessions.
