Update on my earlier reply, I just read Roach is upset that nothing has been confirmed as a training start date nor where training will take place. Well, if time drags on and Manny is not concerned about facing Cotto, then ok time to worry

Pac woud earn more millions by fighting cotto, and would amass more millions in his fight most probably against PBF if he could win from cotto... and what he earned from that bull**** movie shooting is just meager compared to those millions! But his next millions is in jeopardy if he will opt prioritizing this movie things rather than start training now. It's just few weeks away and his position as P4P king will be re-confirm on 14 November! He should view Cotto as his most dangerous opponent on time, and indeed worrisome if his trainer Roach criticized Pac's itenerary!

Pacquiao only needs about 8 weeks to prepare himself. Plus he's probably walking around 155 right now, the fight is at 145 he'll only need to drop down 10lbs to make weight not 30lbs+ like Cotto.

Yes, Cotto has been training for some time now(consummate professional) !! The glitz is what ko's the best of them!! priority first - your craft / proffesion - look at what happened to Lenox Lewis, out filming oceans 12, and gets knocked out by Rahman, Look at Tarver, filming rocky and gets beat by Hopkins - to not take cotto serious is crazy to me, And all of the pac fans to just think your guy is going to steam roll an elite fighter that has the type of scalps under his belt show a lack of knowing your stuff, you guys are emotional fans, not boxing fans..Arthur Mercante jr. in an interview I read last week was talking about the Zab Judah's type boxers out there who have what it takes to get to the elite level, but lack the intangibles that help you succeed, and stay at that level!! And the fighter he was talking about was Cotto, Cotto trains like a beast and goes home to rest with his family, then wakes up and is back at it - very focused, very mature - that is why i will nevre count dude out, he trains too hard! He stays focused the whole fight! and he has unbelievable HEART!! Pac Man better get his ass in somebody's gym quickly and start getting prepared, even Roach was very concerned about his fighters approach - Cotto is not the fighter to play with - Clottey after his fight with cotto had nothing but praise for the mans technical skills, and ring generalship (he was asked to compare between cotto and margacheato - and said cotto was in another league - as quoted from Malignaggi, Judah, Mosley, quintana, kelson pinto, alfoso gomes, etc - you have to be ready to go through hell to beat this dude, look at margarito's face after his fight - you have to be ready to walk through hell, or cheat . I think Pac is gonna pay for his extra curricular activity in this one,

Yeah, 'cause training is only about making weight. lol.

As to Pac not having started yet, he's a demonstrated himself to be a pro so
I will not make any kind of opinion as to his preparedness until the weeks leading up to the fight.

I look at it this way. Pacquiao might do just enough training for the fight to be in shape. But not going above and beyond like he usually does. IMO this is bad because he's going to need all the armor possible to last and take shots from Cotto for 12 rds if it went that far. He shouldn't be basing Cotto off his last performance which might be a blessing in disguise for Cotto if he already got Pac thinking that way. Roach has been trying to get in contact with Pacquiao but Pac's people keep putting him off. Roach wants the training location already so he can setup and get Pacquiao there ASAP but nothing so far. I think the people around Pac honestly don't care about his well being in the most dangerous fight of his career.

It's funny how most of you think that pac will ko cotto and compare his last performance against clottey. lol How do you think pac will do against clottey and margocheato? Oh, if pac really wants a welt title, then fight at 147. Pac must think, I'll fight any welt, except not above 145, unless you're old and weight drained, then I'll do 147.

Can't wait to see cotto send pac back to jr. welterweight. Maybe even back to lightweight. haha Pac couldn't ko marquez, much less the much bigger and stronger man cotto.
