I don't think this is a set up because there would be no point in doing it. It's not like Gallen's going anywhere from this at 39 years of age. He turned up in shape, Browne didn't, and he pulled off a great result. Massive congratulations to the man.

Think of it like David Becham fighting Kell Brook. If he beats Brook...a fight with Amir Khan is a sell-out blockbuster. If he loses...as much as he's loved...nobody wants to see him fight again. It's an investment on his name and previous fame. Much like when Eddie bought Charles Martin's belt. It seemed at first like he overplayed but that 4 million dollar investment has parlayed into a 100 million dollar payday. You say Gallen has nowhere to go yet in 2 years with virtually no experience he's earning half a Million a fight and that's only going up.
