How come Nate Robinson fought better than Ben Askren?

I just watched an NBA player whose athleticism and boxing movement was just as good as Jake Paul. Even Robinson had better punch technique than Askren. The difference is that Jake Paul simply threw Hail Marys when they engaged profusely.

therefore, did Askren just take a dive? His fight was announced in January. He’s a professional combatant. How is it possible he prepped for this fight whilst looking horrible in a weigh in?

Triller might be rigging fights with a disclosure that some of its fights are meant to be fake like commercial wrestling. Also the Paul Brothers been affiliated with TMT... was Floyd and Paul Brothers threatened by an insider that their fake was to have been staged too? I think most MMA guys are terrible at boxing, but especially wrestlers. They want to sniff crotch more than punching a face. Askren was already embarassed and exposed in the UFC. He was humiliated by that flying knee of Masvidal. A journeyman took him out in record time. I think he just took this fight for a cash grab. Probably got paid extra for the lack of training and dad bod. Also, tons of MMA guys have weak chins so he might've actually tried .

Askren wasn't paid to fight - he was paid to turn up.

Nate had some personal pride, whereas Askren had bills to pay.

Nate and Askren were equally horrible. Nate threw punches like a crazy woman and had no defence. Askren stood still, perfectly lined up to get nailed. Both opponents looked terrible and both got stopped quickly but Nate was KO’d unconscious. That was a scary KO !
