Andrade lacks power to be a real boxer

I like the guy, I really do.

But he just lacks power so much. He is like Malignaggi. Just less popular, fighting lower opposition.

If he had just a little more power he would be a top dog at 160.

But this guy has no power at all.

I mean, he is a fighter, he has a heart, if he was a *****, he would have quit in last fight.

he has to fight GGG and Charlo, but he will probably lose both fights.

Honestly, he will be a good name on the resume of either Canelo or a Charlo. Don't see him amounting to any more than that. BJS would also beat him well. Andrade vs. Munguia could be an interesting fight.

Power isn’t everything, only casuals think so. He has enough power to stop anyone walking through him with no regard for what’s coming back, that’s most important. His punches are fast and sharp enough to keep anyone honest.

plenty of top fighters win fights without big power. I wouldn’t even say Canelo Is a huge puncher. He’s a respectable puncher but He rarely looks like stopping or even dropping good fighters like Jacobs, GGG, even Smith

Andrade doesn’t really need big power to win fights, the big problem is I think he will come apart against a good level fighter. Even William’s had him looking like he could fold. To me that’s not a good sign. He could be fighting to the level of his opposition. You do get fights that fight to the level of opposition, like Saunders for instance, but never at any point do you think he can start to fold under a bit of pressure and end up being stopped. I get that feeling with Andrade and could see it happening when he’s in with a better fighter than he has been.

i think he gets beat against other bigger names, but not through lack of power.

You can say however you wanna say, If Williams was just a little better, he would have walked him down.

right. paulie couldn't punch for **** but he was a 2 weight world champ.

that being said, andrade isn't really a great fighter imo. I didn't like his performance last night. He looked so unmotivated.
