Manny hits harder if you take away the plaster if you're going by the account of Rashad Holloway. With plaster it's another story, Marg's power goes into the stratosphere. Rashad never felt anything like it, and his face got smashed. He went from just fine to possible career threatening injury in no time. Holloway has never outright accused Marg of using plaster on him out of respect, but I'm sure he wondered how the guy's power shot up against him like that from one sparring session to the next.

Now keep in mind, Cotto got beat with those rocks for 11 rounds and he still wasn't actually KO'd nor did his face need surgical attention.

Power is ultimately going to be a non issue for Cotto against Pac, watch.
