I think Regis is making out like a bandit already at nearly a mill for a fight he's a -4500 favorite in.

I have no doubt Jake is getting a cut of the PPV money on top of his purse. Ben probably is too.

Jake is an investor in Triller to so he's got upside there as well thats harder to see at present time.

I was surprised as fook to see Mir getting THAT much. I figured maybe he was getting high 5 digits or $100k, $120k maybe.

Based on the boxers purses alone they need 63k buys to break even. Should be easily attainable & I suspect this is doing 200k+ buys. Wouldn't be surprised if Ben ends up making a mill or two if he got a fair cut of the PPV money.

Lol. Typical LDBC kids proving that they hated DAZN because Hearn said it would a great “transatlantic deal.” Thats the only reason these Sprite slurped can’t interpret, bringing up “nationalities.” These LDBC clowns made fun of DAZN because it started YouTubers now they are thrilled about Triller with these wack ass pays on a celebrity death match app. Put some lean innit’

Wouldn't be surprised if I get labeled 'ancient geezer' for this comment... but I mean really... what an embarrassment to the sport. They need to go all out bonkers and add a fashion show, a couple comedians, elephants doing acrobatics, a cat judging contest, farm implement demonstration and trained seals to these 'musicians' performances. May as well go bonkers totally over the cliff while they're at it.

Well you’re not joking with your assessment. As I said back in 2018, we’re in a streaming app age. It was only a matter of time. Technologies will search ways to exploit retention even if it’s tacky. DAZN is more hard headed to sports, but it was Eddie Hearn who brought Youtuber awareness retention to boxing and DAZN approved it. Not that it was Hearn’s idea but he had to promote DAZN’s ideas...

it’s quite simple, marketing focuses on stats or where activity is generated from. We’re in an age of apps where Youngies are buying and interesting in app purchases. Look at the convenience and genius of Apple Pay. I can just double click or face recognition whatever I want and I won’t think so much of the price that would cost a McDonald’s meal. lol. That’s all it is.

now to your point I do agree the wackiest goes overboard. Since Triller is focused on media production and music they have to consolidate all these weird acts in an event because essentially that what the original app is. FITE club is nothing more than existing distro forwarding the events/fights from from the right holders and they get a percentage. Distro are nothing new. In this case Lopez Kambosos is a pure original event all the profits go to them; Triller.

as long as boxers get paid and boxing gets pushed more then we should just accept it for what it is, but I found it comical internet nerds showing their theories that apps don’t work because they have personal grudges against Eddie Hearn and Oscar they made propaganda against which never made sense. You can’t stop the machine of apps. It’s the king of convenience, apps.

so at the very least the boxers get paid and all these casuals whom tune into the spectacle “get into boxing.” Though I wonder the boxing fan spectator has to go through musical performances in between fights for the event... for old schoolers that might be gay. Something from Haymon’s World!

Glad to see Regis making a nice payday, I'm sure he will steal the show with a brutal k.o. therefore he deserves to be the highest paid for the show

The youtube guy is making the kind of big money in his third fight that the likes of Oscar De La Hoya made. Crazy world hey, but ok, he's getting what the market is willing to pay.
