I tend to agree with this. Hatton-Marquez would be a great fight in Vegas. Hatton will bring the Brits and JMM will bring the Mexicans. Hatton would certainly have a better shot at beating Juan with his halfway predictable speed and orthodox stance. Hatton seems to do allot better against guys who don't have incredible speed and and/or a southpaw stance. This may be the fight to look great in. Kinda like Tszyu was. I wish him well whatever he does. Boxing needs Ricky Hatton and fighters like him.

How do you figure? He's certainly not a world-beater anymore (and at his height, he was somewhat overrated). However, he easily walks through the likes of Diaz. Another good fight for him would be Clottey at 147. He's not done, he's simply at the end of his career.

At this point of his career after making $10 Mill plus in his two previous fights, I am sure that Ricky does not want to take a step back by fighting Juan who, in most boxing fans eyes lost to Malignaggi who was already embarrassed by Hatton.

Juan Diaz would certainly NOT get Ricky 10 Mill, BUT he can use Diaz as a comeback fight and then fight Khan in a mega fight in the UK if it makes any sense by then. Also, like i said before, Mosley vs Hatton at 147 would be extremely easy to make since they're both under Golden Boy Promotions and that's a fight i would love to see.

Ricky is done as a top level fighter. His punch resistence is gone and when that goes and you built your career on brawling it is time to retire.
