When you look at who Whyte, his record and his wins is easy to accept how protected he has been.
He only beat Povetkin because he was shot to bits from Covid, KTFO by Povetkin before that by a faded over the hill fighter in his 40s. Wach in his 40s never has been went life or death for 12 rounds. Rivas, allowed to cherry picked his own elimination opponent after ducking the previous ordered two, Rivas was ranked 16th in the division ducked the rematch. Chisora ranked 13th in division was ahead on points until the ref deducted points until he got distracted and whyte knocked him out. Parker, illegal headbutt knockdown changed the course of the fight giving Whyte the win, ducked the rematch.

Whyte is a lot bigger than Chisora, more skilled and hits harder. A much bigger problem for Usyk to get to. The biggest problem with Usyk is he doesn't have the power to worry the guys at HW and getting inside of the big guys whom have a decent jab is going to be a big task.

Usyk isn't Chisora or Parker. He's smaller and has far less power. No HW is going to be afraid of what's coming back from Usyk.

Chisora was landing the right from across the ring. When he's fighting big guys that fight taller behind a jab he's going to find it very hard to get inside and get his own shots off. I just don't see this master boxer that people say. His workrate and combinations are what stood out but that won't be enough at HW.

Usyk had Chisora in trouble in the 7th round and the 12th a bit . Usyk defeated Chisora easier then Whyte did even without the stoppage .

Maybe that’s because Usyk is southpaw ?

Whyte would pose a bigger threat stylistically to Usyk though . Usyk will improve at heavyweight so not sure who would win ,Whyte is no Joyce either he’s not as imposing ,he has arguably more one shot power the left hook but he needs to land it perfectly,Joyce can hurt opponents easier in general . If Usyk can hand Joyce a defeat again he can hand Whyte one .
