To make it seem like he's injured for the cameras. Or for extra support when training. Honestly I don't know, I thought it was weird too.

Everyone knows that rib injury story is FAKE FAKE. Fight wasnt selling so decided to postpone it. WOre that protection crap to try to fool the audience that his injury was real!!!!!!!

You guys are so naive Floyd is trying it on for the fight. Duh you don't buy a suit without knowing if it fits first. He plans on wearing it during the fight just in case JMM has any funny ideas about actually trying to hit him.
