Manny has to fight him nonstop from start to finish. Too much Too early is the key.
That is true. Erik Morales is a slow starter, he don't take shots too well early in fights, as we saw against In-Jin Chi and Jesus Chavez. If Pacquiao keeps the pressure on Erik, it'll be a short night.
Pac is facing a serious opponent. None like he has ever faced. Morales plays offense, so does pac. This is the first time I have ever seen him attempt to fight an offensive minded fighter.

I'm interested in that scenario, seehow that plays out. But the key does seem to be Pacquiao's speed and power. Erik is going to give him the opportunities.

Morales is not going to run. He is going to distance himself with the jab, while standing in front of his opponent. Like he always does. He throws straight punches followed by uppercuts. Pac has NEVER faced this versatile of an opponent.
JMM,MAB,lucero, ledwaba, etc are not half as versatile as Morales.
Not to mention, they are defensive minded fighters.
I think Morales best work will have to come on the inside with uppercuts while Manny lungs in. If they stay on the outside Morales has to constantly pump his jab because if he doesn't the faster Pacquiao will come down the middle with the straight left. I think who ever breaks thier opponent down to the body more will win a decision. Morales goes to the body alot more than Pac does so I might give him the edge. This fight is really hard for me to choose because I can see several ways the fight can go down.

Barrera is not as versatile? Barrera is like 3 inches shorter than Morales, yet out slugs and outboxes Morales. Barrera is many times better than Morales. Morales is vulnerable most when he boxes. He doesn't really jab well, and if he goes backwards, he's in all kinds of trouble. I think his best bet is to stay in Pacquiao's chest, as Pacquiao doesn't throw short punches that well. The good thing for Pacquiao is that neither does Morales.
