Kazuto Ioka vs. Donnie Nietes, Kazuto Ioka vs. Kosei Tanaka, Roman Gonzalez vs. Sor Rungvisai, Sor Rungvisai vs. Juan Francisco Estrada, Juan Francisco Estrada vs. Roman Gonzalez II, had historical implications. Clearly, the 'Superfly' weight class has separated itself from the rest of the divisions in boxing.

With the WBC calling for a four-man tournament : Estrada vs. Gonzalez, Rungvisai vs. Cuadras, a trilogy with Estrada-Gonzalez and rematch between Rungvisai-Cuadra ( two former WBC champions ), will only deepen the layers of this saga. If this was not enough, Kazuto Ioka, Donnie Nietes, and tthe IBF champion Jerwin Ancajas should be looking to fight each other ; note : Kazuto Ioka has already lost to Donnie Nietes ( arguably ), if Jerwin finally dares to finally unify with Kazuto Ioka that is another massive fight for Japanese-Filipino boxing rivalry.
