Comments Thread For: Conor Benn: I'd Like To Send Amir Khan Out To Retirement, Nicely

Undefeated welterweight contender Conor Benn wants to send former world champion Amir Khan into retirement. Khan has been out of the ring since July of 2019, when he knocked out late replacement Billy Dibb in Saudi Arabia. Benn was in action this past Saturday night at Copper Box Arena in London, when he stopped Samuel Vargas in 82 seconds of the first round.

Conor Bent, is simply a coward. After his premature stoppage of Sammy Vargas, Conor Bent was shouting at the top of his lungs ' TOP CONTENDAH! TOP CONTENDAH!' but hes not calling-out Vergil Ortiz, or Boots Enis. Conor Bent knows hes no threat to the crown. The only thing that should be coming out of Benn's mouth as far as Amir Khan is concern, is praise : how Khan traveled to America and made a name for himself, by beating a prime Marcos Maidana and Zab Judah, earning a spot in the P4P, proving the haters wrong after they wrote him off when Bredis Prescott knocked him out.

Conor Bent will NEVER come close to achieving what Amir 'King' Khan has accomplished in boxing. Conor Bent, is a domestic-level Euro-Bum.

Benn would knock out Khan, but how he would do against the top contenders Ortiz jr and Ennis, I don't know.

Khan is old his hands have slowed and his IQ has always been , like his chin ...suspect. he made the mistake of going in with unsung fighters before Garcia and Prescott and with knocked all over the ring .Benn can obviously hit but has limitations. Khan will go no where near a man who looks lively.

So he thinks he'll gain all of Khan's experience points if he beats him? This dude plays too many video games.

Khan is smart to avoid that fight. No reason to fight somebody just to help build their brand.

It WAS a premature stoppage against Sammy Vargas, wasn't it?

Now this kid is feeling himself a little too much.

Conor Bent is feeling himself WAAAYYY too much! Conor Bent would be lucky to get in the ring with all the talent that Sammy Vargas has faced thus far.
