Naw man, it is an excuse cuz he criticized Arum for canceling the fight with mora cuz of the staph infection and told everyone that he was fine he could have gone through with it. Now out of nowhere he's hurt again, please.

I like how people are saying to Pavlik "Quit the excuses" as if he has had more than one. Since mid 2009 he has had a staph infection/hand problem, and has not used excuses of any other sort except this one. Why do you guys think that is? Perhaps because it's a legit injury and the dude can't just take a fight with a bad hand cuz u guys wanna see a a good fight. If this fight is gonna go down the right way, Kelly needs to heal his self up and fight when he's ready to do damage like he used to.

Kelly needs to provide that medical report so that we know if he is stalling or not. How do we know that he is not faking? The Medical Report will tell he truth as to whether his hand is fine for a Dec 5 fight, or if he is going to need more time. And lets not forget that when the Mora fight was canceled, Pavlik and Lowe came out and said that he was fine and ready to fight. Pwill should just take another fight to stay busy and look to fight Pavlik in early 2010.

Why don't they start threatening to strip him of his titles. I mean I don't remember the last time he defended them I this is the problem with boxing he got exposed by 103 year old Hopkins and then he went on a drinking binge call it for what it is he's scared and is clearly being protected by arum. Man, if pwill destroyed winky, the king of the famed "shell" defense, what do u think will happen to slow starting, telegraph all my punches, barely move around the ring Pavlik.....i can see why this staph infection excuse is being put out there just in case he has second thoughts after watchin pwill/winky fight on tape again, gettin tired of this, next it will be an ingrown toenail excuse....
