Benn is not ready yet for elite guys, but I've got no problem with him taking on top 20 guys with good reputations for the next couple of years until he is in his prime. It will build his experience and his profile.

For me his next test should be someone like Ray Robinson.
You're right. They all have double standards. No one who knows anything about boxing and proper progression of a prospect/fringe contender would expect him to fight a top 5 guy yet. He has lots of time and is passing all the tests thus far. He's already exceeded the expectations of most of the boxing world, especially after that first Peynaud fight.

All four of them would be his best win IMO.
I’d strongly argue McKinson is more proven than Benn after beating Kongo.

Benn’s career path reminds me of Yarde’s. Avoiding the domestic guys and being guided up the rankings by fighting imported opposition.

I think we might get Brook vs Benn on PPV. Khan’s smart enough not to risk selling his name to a prospect whilst Brook will take any payday he can get.
You seriously think Congo was a better win than Vargas? Good one bro. That's some grade A BS right there.

I mean, that's not a bad fight with McKinson but if Benn is shooting for world level then that seems like good aspirations. I'd rather see him fight someone like Calazo or somebody idk. The British welterweights don't interest me much.

For the exposure sure Khan and Broner would be a good look on the resume but are they really a good gauge of where he is at? I'd rather he fought a live dog and keep improving technically than just increase his exposure

His old man losing to Watson did nothing but good for him made him realise he needed to sharpen his game so Connor shouldn't fear losing either he will only learn where he is lacking

Once one of his team members tells him what's up, he's going to laugh too.

i don`t know what is so strange if young prospect calls out Broner and Khan. Only ignorants find that funny.

Con and Bout Hundreds are jokes and can only trouble guys who can't crack the top 30.

They are done and most don't take them seriously.

The rookie will smash them both.

all the matchroom mongs rushing to defend one of their fighters

Benn will continue to be matched extremely carefully against guys that either, cant punch at all, are a former name thats shot to bits or oaps / a mixture of all three. And Edwin will put most of them on PPV. the matchroom mongs will start barking louder about how he isnt actually crap and will win a world title... finally Edwin will put him in a position for a vacant trinket and Benn will get brutally knocked out.

Shaun Porter? are you ****ing kidding me? Benn would get faceplanted & porter isnt even a big puncher FFS.
