Comments Thread For: Arum: Beterbiev-Smith Could Go Either Way; Whoever Wins, It's Gonna Be Entertaining

Now that Artur Beterbiev has handled Adam Deines, Bob Arum is halfway toward making the light heavyweight title unification fight that the promoter can't wait to put together.

I really hope they aren’t looking past Vlasov, this is a tough fight for Joe.

Sounds like Arum is. I doubt Smith is. Arum, being the promoter, can afford to. Pumping up Beterbiev against Smith for a three belt unification is an easy sell, but one he needs to get out to the general public. I am sure Smith and his team understand what is at stake. I have not even heard any real talk from Smith or Vlasov's camps.

I think Beterbiev gives Smith a severe beating.

Only Bivol and probably Canelo beat Beterbiev at 175. All others get a terrible beating.

Would love to see Beterbiev vs Smith, would be a f***ing war. I have a feeling Vlasov might score the upset tonight though. He has a pretty good chin so I could see him edging it on points.
