The Top Rank commentators were pretty biased towards Cotto. They made it seem like he was out on his feet many times, when in reality he was never hurt. It was a good close competitive fight between two elite WW's.

As a poster said the other day. It was Mosley's fight to win. He just didn't pull the trigger that night. I had it 7-5 and Cotto stole a couple rounds with those late flurries.

As for what you said. Ever Rican I know will say Mosley got whooped bad. They will also say that he beat the **** out of Clottey to.

I like Cotto and enjoy his fights. But I don't believe he is great and is on his last leg

Nuff said, Mosley was competitive with Cotto at 37 years old and past his prime great fighter period.. Prime Mosley would brutalize him. Makes me laugh when ppl act like Cotto whoopped on Mosley when he only won by 2 rounds max and on my scorecard it was pretty even. Showtime commentators said he was on defensive mode and about to be KO? what a joke Cotto was the one backing up like he usually does in the Championship rounds vs good Comp aka Margs, Mosley and Clottey..

Having said that i thought the commentators for Taylor/Froch were decent, dont know if it was an off night for them. But only time i see Mosley hurt was after he take flush brutal shots from Forrest after a nasty head butt

Dude it was Top Rank commentators, they ****** major ass.
I do like Cotto myself and I hope he batters Pacman but he will never be as good as Mosley.

I've been saying it for a while. A prime Mosley would beat Cotto easily. This version can still beat Cotto imo. He almost beat him the first time without a gameplan. The worse to me is when people say Cotto would have always been a problem for Mosley because of his jab. If they fight again Mosley beats him and probably would finish him. I think Pac may do it first though

Cotto is a warrior and I respect him. He will fight anyone. But I don't believe he is a great fighter. But a good fighter.

Cotto and Mosley was a great fight, Cotto had him timed, had his timing onto his jab. Mosley was tough and he went through it, but Cotto came out on top by keeping fights. those shots were real bombs. it was a close but a clear decision though, Cotto had him under control. that was Cotto at his best.

Even though I had Mosley winning that fight I think he could've knocked Cotto out if he would've pressed harder and I also believe Shane's dad as his trainer is what played a big part of him losing that fight. He didn't give Mosley any intelligent advice at all compared to what Richardson did with him in the fight with Margarito. Shane's dad can never even get what round it is right. And as a result, Mosley didn't fight with the kind of urgency he could have. Seeing Cotto get a decision in Madison Square Garden was nothing suprising to me, but we need to see a rematch if Cotto can keep up his win streak.
