Comments Thread For: Jaron Ennis' Father/Trainer: Boots & Vergil Ortiz Will Be Hell Of A PPV Fight Down The Line

By Keith Idec - UNCASVILLE, Connecticut - Jaron Ennis isn't interested in comparing himself to boxing's other undefeated, 23-year-old rising star in the welterweight division. Salute to Boots and Vergil! Please take notes of Mayweather vs. Pacquiao, and Spence Jr. vs. Crawford! Let these be examples of WHAT NOT TO DO! Best of luck to you both!

That would be a heck of a fight, Ortiz pushing forward looking for a ko or punishing Ennis over the distance, and Ennis looking to outbox Ortiz and hurt him as he charges in. Top contenders, not sure they can beat Crawford and Spence, or even Pacquiao at his age now, but the two best contenders.

That won't happen again, at least not at 147, maybe Fury vs. Joshua? I don't think Spence Jr. and Crawford are anywhere near May & Pac! They ain't even at Canelo level. You know what would make it special? If Boots beat Spence Jr., and Vergil beat Crawford! Now they're cooking with hot fish grease!

never heard that saying before - guess it gets real hot? agree with your analysis - based on what I've seen so far Ennis beats Ortiz - only thing we haven't seen tested is Boot's chin

Does Boots beat Spence Jr.? I have a feeling that Spence will be at 154 in 2022, but I wish they could make that fight later this year!
