Whitaker's face was pretty swollen in the De La Hoya fight, but that was just one fight. I think I remember another one where he was pretty marked up, but its not coming to mind now.

I cant remember if Hopkins was marked up or not in the Mercado fight.

It was because of a headbutt...DLH was cut in that fight by the headbutt as well.

nah, black people can get pretty busted up. in blends in more with their skin(the bruises), but you can still tell if you look closely. Rahman and Joppy had some of the most swollen faces/bruises Ive ever seen before.

well that's true and Rahman looked like a baby alien was growing outta his forehead, but it doesn't happen very often....I haven't seen too many black dudes look like Gatti, Izzy Vazquez, Miguel Cotto, ect.....

librado andrade gets hit flush all fight long and wont even swell up or anythin just had a little cut against bute. but he can really take a punch and not look jacked up

I believe Muhammad Ali was cut only one time against Bob Foster and it was a minor cut.
