My apologies if this was already posted. I did not see it and it’s a great story.
David Tua stops to help stranded motorists, teaches their son how to change a tire

I remember reading elsewhere that Tua was always so affable and kind in person that it was hard to believe he was the same guy responsible for so many brutal KOs. So, this tracks. -

Didn't know there was a British spelling of tire. Not sure why Canada took half of the British English words yet we have Canadian Tire instead of Tyre for instance.
Cool story though. Thanks for posting a positive thread for a change.Comment

Kiwis are the most friendly people on earth IMO. i learned to drive a motorbike there and had no idea how to maintain or do anything with bikes - within minutes of me first breaking down on a road in the middle of nowhere - the first very car pulled over.
took me to the nearest farm - farm owners mate who was there helped fit a new chain for me - farm owner gave me a cuppa and after i offered them some weed for their troubles the owner of the farm then gave me some of their homegrown.
if that happened in the UK - i would be standing in the rain for hours with everyone just driving past.
WAR TUA WAR NZ
