          half the fights in boxing are gonna be "controversial" cause a lot of people think throwing punches that don't even land is how to win nowadays. the guy actually boxing and evading punches and placing clean shots is deemed to be "outworked"

            well Calzaghe didn't hurt Hopkins or anything, but he did win that fight only because Hopkins didn't do enough. I had it 114-113 Calzaghe.

              When you throw 7 punches per round landing a average of 1 per round doesnt win you a fight!!!!!!!

                  this is exactly my point. he didn't do enough? outlanding your opponent all night and barely getting hit in the process? i know he didn't land a lot compared to an average fight but all you have to do is be better than your opponent and he clearly was better than mr inaccurate calzaghe.
