LOL in Vargas being a serious step put. A proven loser that gets KOed when he steps up. Vargas is a safe opponent to be used as a stepping stone.

The 'King' speaks from his own violent encounter with Sammy Vargas. Sammy Vargas has given interviews in which he believes that he is only getting a win by KO against Conor Benn; a sound assumption, considering the regular su****ious cards at Matchroom events. I'm sure Eddie Hearn can not afford another big upset of another promising prospect after the calamity that Josh Kelly suffered, in a step-up fight against David Avanesyan. Vargas, has predicted that Conor Benn is going down in six, coincidentally that was the round that Josh Kelly legs went out and the towel came in.

Vargas is a step up fight for Benn. Conor has looked much improved since his fight against Peynaud but Vargas will try to win and rough him up, something that neither Formella or Jamoye really tried to do.

It will never not baffle me that Khan got a Crawford fight coming off THAT performance lol.

Vargas is a tough guy though so he's not going to lay down here. Benn should handle business properly but he's not going to just get Vargas out of there in four or five rounds.
