If Bud fights Runtime next, it'll be among biggest ducks of all time?!

Just wanted to see if anyone else agrees with this? I've been seeing everyone getting excited for Bud V Thurman as if its somehow going to finally be Crawfords step up & prove himself fight,& as if that will finally make his resume not be drenched full of tomato soup cans.

But to me this would mean Bud is truly looking to cherrypick the rest of his career vs the weakest links possible to avoid the actual threats for eternity. Both Ortiz & Porter are much better opponents at this moment than Thurman whom I have said for many yrs was mediocre & which Pac proved.

If Bud fights Ortiz or Porter next I would finally give him credit & say that hes a proven champ(if he wins) ,but if he fights Thurman he should forever be ashamed of himself for this blatant ducking.

Bud is 33 yrs old ffs,he doesn't have much time left to prove hes great

crazy how a 2 year layoff injury-ridden Thurman would easily be the biggest achievement in Bum's career.

Porter would be a good fight and test for him. I doubt he fights Manny.

I don't agree with that, Keith is a shot fighter and isn't very good right now. Prime Thurman would have been a good fight and the biggest achievement, but Keith did worse against Manny Pacquiao than Jeff Horn did.

Duck of whom? There's no such thing as a duck in general. Why would you give him more credit for fighting Porter over fighting the guy who beat Porter? Because he looked good against Formella? Porter is 2-2 in his last 4 fights in my eyes, and I had him beating Garcia by 1 round (Who also lost to Thurman)

From a negotiating standpoint Thurman beat Danny Garcia and Porter. Should Crawford KO Thurman, he did it while others couldn’t including PAC. Thurman is more cost effective for ESPN.

Porter has never been blown out,Porter is his mando,& Porter is not some pssy who" retired to take long walks on the beach with wifey" like Thurman. I have been saying since before runtimes layoff that he was mediocre & that he had 1 foot in retirement,& Pac proved it as well as josetito lopez to a lesser extent. Porter at this moment is the far more dangerous fighter,& if he wants to duck him he should at least fight Ortiz.

Porter is the exact same style fighter as Horn. I'd rather see a different fight TBH. The style matchup with him and Thurman is more interesting IMO. Ortiz is green, but it's not a bad fight. If he can't get Pacquao then I'd rather see Thurman over Garcia and Porter, two fighters who Thurman beat. To me, they're PBC's version of Whyte and Chisora. "You want a shot? Gotta fight these two first"

And no, Porter has never been blown out. But either has Thurman.

Thurman has only fought twice in last 4 yrs iirc? Thurman to me would be an opponent that doesn't come to win but rather just collect a paycheck before retiring. Porter is active & gave Spence hell.(when I say he was never blown out I mean hes faced more elite comp than Thurman & barely lost, including to Spence, which would mean if Bud blasts him he would be a great scalp & help his negotiating w Spence)

I just think Thurman is basically looking to cashout & isn't even a threat anymore. Bottom line is Thurman & Porter are both with Pbc & Porter is the mando who Bob offered only 1 mil to fight(which Thurman would never accept,so that would mean Bud blatantly ducked Porter if he fights Thurman imo)

I can't see how it wouldn't be a blatant duck considering the circumstances. If Bud were to beat Ortiz though I would forever proclaim him the truth for fighting the most difficult opponent imho that he can.

I don't know if you were one of those guys saying Bud is too much of a coward to fight this version of Keith, maybe you were, maybe you weren't, but as you stated a lot of people were. So if this is the fight that get made, I won't give you **** when I give everyone else **** who said before the fight that Bud was too much of a b*** to fight Thurman, but now change their tune and say Thurman is washed up.

To be clear I don't think this is a good fight for Terence either, Pacman and Thurman are both completely washed up. I don't even think Porter is that great a fight, Spence is the one I want. But I'd settle for the other 3 just because everyone's been saying Bud can't beat them.
