I picked Hearns.....with Duran, it was a great light weight who first beat the man at WW at the time....the second fight when SRL acutally won, a lot of BS was involved in that fight although making an ATG like Duran quit was pretty amazing.....also against Hagler, both were past their best and even like that I thought Hagler won...it was to close to call.....with Hearns, you had two of the best WWs of all time in their prime going at it...it was nuts, great fight for boxing and it made SRL an even bigger star....Benitez was a great win also, it introduced the new Golden Boy to the masses but doesn't compare to his win against Tommy

          Hagler for sure.

Coming out of retirement. Stepping up in weight to face the most feared middleweight of all time.

The other wins are great too, but the Hagler win shows the stuff legendary ATG's are made of.

I second that. Hearns was a good fight to.

Wow, so you guys thought that SRL actually beat Hagler convincingly?....shoe shining pitty pat punches to steal the rounds shouldn't win somebody a fight....I think Hagler fought the wrong fight and should've just mauled him but Hagler was clearly past his prime and was not the same monster he was before...SRL was as well, but he was very lucky in this fight that HAgler fought with a dumb game plan but still should've won....there's a reason SRL waited to make the fight

                  The Hearns fight.

With the Hagler fight you have to take into account the enormity of Sugar Ray's comeback, but in terms of a fight and showing a champion's grit in securing an emphatic victory, Hearns was where Leonard staked his name.

He had quite a few good wins, but the one that stands out for me the must, is Hagler. Coming out of retirement being the decide underdog going into this fight, and going up in weight -- I remeber thinking that he was biting off a little more then he could chew. Bottom Line SRL outboxed and out thought Hagler and used all of his strenghts to there absolute fullist advantage, to take a SD win. Weather you look at as a controversial win or not ... it's with out a doubt his biggest win for me.
