    I didn't even think last years was that good. It was supposed to improve on button mashing but it just became about analog controller mashing. I could stand in one place and just bob/weave and counterpunch. I didn't move all fight.
    I still think I prefer 2001/2002.

      the games sick man the only people whining are the ones that hardly play games cause its hard at first to bust out haymakers if your a rookie gamer, me i been playing for years its like street fighter motions lol just practice

        Its what it's meant to be a game not a reality show? If they want to see the real outcome between a middleweight and a HVY they need common sense not a game...
        It's a great game my son enjoys it.

          ya thats what i didnt like about fight night 2004, u cant move around, well u can but it aint effective, it's all about counterpunching lol

            Who are the best fighters to play with in the game? Is Cotto any good, last year Trinidad ******, just heard Mayorgas really good.

              I have yet to play it, but my main complaint last year was that there were very few "flash" knockdowns and absolutely no "one punch" knockouts.

              The only real way to stop someone was to repeatedly land shots and watch his energy meter go down. Then if the guy was quick he could run away until his health came back. If indeed the haymaker feature allows for flash knockdowns and knockouts, then I'll be very very pleased I'm sure.

                I still think I prefer 2001/2002.
                you could change it to buttons, but I saw a clip and this year you have to help your fighter with his cutts in between rounds and have alot more options for career mode
