I have to give Akhmadaliev major props here. 90% of new champs would pick a complete pushover for their first defense. Especially if that first defense is also their first time fighting back at home. This is a damn good fight.

Yup. You guys know I follow a lot of Japanese boxing. People will look at Iwasa's L's and shrug him off, but it's different over there. In Japan you're expected to fight for your first world title within your first ten fights.
