For the record, Tank has the worst resume. Teo has first, Rayn second. I'm just saying Fortuna isn't really an accomplishment. For Haney fighting Linares, that is Haney's biggest fight ever, and that says more about Haney than it does about Linares.

Props to Garcia for taking on two guys in Campbell and Fortuna in a short period of time. Guys who Haney ducked, dodged, and ran away from. And Fortuna is one tricky mofo with a very complicated style, who makes fights ugly. If Garcia can K.O him, big up's for him.

The issue isnt him taking his time.... the issue is him talking about not needing titles and just wants the bigger fights, tank n pacs name kept coming up, if he was ready and willin to fight them, and they wernt available then im sure a 21 year old haney would be the next best option, yet says all that, avoids taking his mandatory and opts for another wbc interim. His words dont match his actions. Had he not called out and spoke all that nonsense then a fight with fortuna who no doubt IS a solid step up wouldnt be received with such negetivity.

Haney only just got booked. Hearn said publically they want the fight after Ryan won v cambell. Ryan wasnt interested. Id understand if haney was a long time reigning champ with many title defences but hes about as green as ryan is yet he didnt want to know instead opts for a interim rather then a shot at the title. Think that loss to haney in amateurs left some mental scars. Even though it was 2-2 in the amateurs.

At no point did i say it wasnt a good fight. Its a step up against a diff style of fighter. But to say no one wanted to box ry hence he had to go with Fortuna isnt correct.
