Looks like Tszyu is ready to go after Charlo and/or Castano.
I think he's #1 contender to Castano, but there's also been some talk about a match with Beefy at #2. Honestly either of would make a great fight I reckon... think he could beat Beefy not sure about Castano though.

The Hornet was about to break Tszyu down, the kid was gassed, that dumbazz Aussie ref stopped the fight early and cost me a gram!

Surprisingly Wade was the favorite in that fight. It caught my eye when considering bets on this card.

And damn respect to Tim for taking Hogan out. I really expected this one to go the distance. Tim is probably ready for some stiffer competition, maybe a top ten guy.

Was he? Ha ha guess someone had a lot of faith in the kid then. I just saw the records and relative ages and joined the dots... TBF Koen was looking real good early rounds and definitely had the edge in skills and sharpness, but of course it's the acid test for all these youngsters... what happens when they meet someone who doesn't fold and starts fighting back?

I think it'll be a learning experience for young Mazoudier though... although he did look to the ref a bit too often for my liking he never really gave in, just got outgritted by the tougher more experienced vet. Reckon he'll be back.

But yeah, WRT Tim I really thought that one was going the distance, Munguia might not be the greatest but he's big and tough and can **** a bit, and Jermall's like a 6 footer who can easily fight at 168. Figured Hogan would be tricky enough to tough this one out.. seriously impressed with young Tsyzu's composure and shot selection, didn't let Dennis drag hi m into anything much - just played his advantages. And that bodywork was brutal. Very nice performance and I think he has to be considered ready for the top 10 (although I'd be thinking about the lower end right now.. Soro, Teixeira, Lubin... someone like that)

Yeah, but if Jermell beats Castano in a unification then Tszyu is #1 contender to Charlo.

So that's a possible matchup too.

Could be potentially I guess. I'd be wary of putting him in with Jermell right away though if I was handling him. I'd be looking at someone in the bottom of half of the top 10 first personally, although I'd have nothing but praise if he did go straight for one of the divisional leaders.

Yea it threw me off when I saw it I had to triple check it. Think it was something like -170 Wade, +140 Koen, so close, but Wade was favored.

And yea I agree 100% on the rest. I think this sorta fight should be the norm. I hate how boxing works where guys get brought up with 15-25 "gimmee" fights basically where they are the massive favorite. I think this is one of the structural problems with boxing & one of the things that makes the UFC & to a lesser degree MMA in general strong. The cream gets to the top sooner with less politics & clever matchmaking & the fans get more competitive fights that grow the sport.

Yea outside of the tip top guys, Mell specifically & BCC to me idk that there is anyone I don't think would be a too big of a leap next time out for Tim. This performance kinda showed that he needs a bigger challenge then he's been getting.
