Scarface has to bring something different to the table, or boxing might die a boring death. That's why he's not shy to show his love for himself and his outrageous analogies, just to be different. I also believe he deliberately picks the wrong fighter to win, for the same purpose, because you won't see on TV everyday were a guy makes a fool of himself by picking the loser almost each and every time.
Teddy is simply not able to score a fight objectively. He must be really ****** if he isn't aware that he's making a fool of himself.
Carnivore can you imagine Teddy being an Official Judge for major fights like Klitschko-Arreola? or Cotto-Pacquiao? that would be disastrous and not only that ,but a boxers worst nightmare.
Last night Friday Night Fights had two very good matchups for the first time in a while, but I could not believe how irritating Atlas was making it.
He just keeps repeating himself over and over again. The fights were very good, but I eventually had to turn down the volume because he was so annoyingly ******.
Teddy Atlas is giving Max Kellerman a serious run for worst boxing announcer! It will be difficult for boxing to have a comeback when the casual fan is turned off by an idiot like Atlas on ESPN.
I disagree. I would rather listen to Atlas who talks strategy and sport then listen to the ass kissing fest that goes on at HBO. They try to brain wash you over there. You can almost hear Kellerman stroking himself under the table. Lampley too. They ball suck the HBO fighter so bad it's not even funny.

Yes, I was thinking about that. Thank God he's not a boxing judge.
He knows his ****.Can't pick a fight or score properly all the time but he cool.
He actually explains that reasoning, he says that he purposely picks the underdog. I heard an interview with him, so I don't think he honestly thinks a certain underdog will win but he likes to pick them for god knows what reason.
Teddy is a huge part of what is wrong with boxing. ESPN is the only weekly show boxing has and they put a guy on the mic with no mic skills. He bashes opponents regularly, saying things like "he is just an opponent" and "he took this fight on 2 days notice" and "he was not brought in here to win this fight" thus leading the casual fan who tunes in to believe he is watching a staged event where the winners and losers are already chosen. Those fans may or may not ever come back. He needs to be replaced with someone who is more into promoting the sport of boxing than he is promoting himself.
His fight previews are some of the cheesiest things in TV.
Agreed. Everything about Atlas annoys me. He also scored round 9 of Urango/Bailey 10-8 where there were two official KDs and then said something like 'I'd hope the judges score these rounds correctly'. What an idiot.
